About Me
Hello, I'm Jamie — a wedding photographer based in the Surrey Hills, with a deep love for natural light, quiet moments, and the beauty found between the big events of a wedding day.
My background is a little different to most. I spent years competing in winter sports, representing Team GB at two Winter Olympic Games. Much of my life has been spent travelling the world, and it was through those adventures that I discovered a deep passion for photography — first in action sports, then in travel and the world around me.
When the winter season came to a close each year, I found myself drawn to a different kind of storytelling. I began working alongside my good friend Laura Dean, a photographer with over 10 years of experience shooting weddings all over the world. Working with Laura as a second shooter on many occasions gave me the foundation, the eye, and the confidence to bring that same passion to one of life's most beautiful moments.
I believe every couple has a story worth telling beautifully. My approach is gentle and unobtrusive — I blend into your day so you can live it fully, while I capture every glance, every laugh, and every tear that makes it yours.
I'm based in Cranleigh and cover Surrey and Sussex — Guildford, Godalming, Dorking, Horsham and the villages in between. Most of my weddings are across the UK, but I've been lucky enough to photograph destination weddings in Europe too.
